Director inducts new members of staff

The Director of Kenya institute of mass communication (KIMC), Mr. Hiram Mucheke held a meeting on 2nd June 2017 with the student fraternity at the preview theatre in the film department.
The meeting which saw quite number of students and all heads of department attend was designed at introducing the new members of staff including four lectures Bonice Chagara of film department, John Kamau engineering department, Hellen Mbuluko production department and Lydia Mokaya information. Angela Kiptoo and Richard Njoroge&Winfred Wanjeri joins KIMC as the institution’s Corporate Secretary dealing with the legal work in the institute and Catering department as a cooks respectively
Speaking during the meeting Mr. Mucheke appreciated the incredible efforts of powerhouse drama club for their excellent performance in this year’s national drama festivals that were held in Kisumu in April and not forgetting the rugby team that emerged the second in this year’s first semester KETISA games.
Mr.Mucheke commended the students to feat their energy in matters positive. “Life is all about choices, make the best of the opportunities you get”.
The KIMC council (KIMSCO) government were also honoured for the good work they had done so far and elections of new leaders announced to take place in July as per KIMSCO constitution.
